Student Spotlight: Adrian Johnston
Meet Adrian Johnston, first year PhD student at INBT and in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department. This Hopkins engineer is studying how the human body uses the immune system to fight cancer. With the help of his mentor, Denis Wirtz, Adrian is trying to identify mutations in the immune system that prevents it from fighting cancer, and how to fix it.
