Praful Nair is an Assistant Research Scientist in the Wirtz lab at the Institute for NanoBioTechnology. His work looks at cell migration and cancer metastasis, a keen interest in the Wirtz lab, through an epigenetic viewpoint. To achieve this, he combines 3D in vitro methods with pre-clinical mouse models to identify novel anti-metastatic agents. He obtained his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
