Martin Pomper


Martin Pomper is the Director of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the inaugural William R. Brody Professor of Radiology and a professor at the Whiting School of Engineering in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Dr. Pomper’s research focuses on new molecular imaging techniques and theranostic agents for cancer, inflammatory processes and central nervous system diseases. His group develops both optical imaging reagents and radiopharmaceuticals. Dr. Pomper began teaching at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1996 after completing his M.D. and postgraduate medical training there.
