Kasey Betush is a Grants and Contracts Manager for INBT, where she provides the faculty with pre- and post-award support, opportunities and guidance. Her aim is to help faculty by handling the financial and administrative responsibilities they face while doing research here at Johns Hopkins. She joined INBT in August 2024. She began her career at the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 in the Office of Sponsored Programs. As a Federal Contracts Officer, she was responsible for negotiating an array of federally funded contractual research agreements. Prior to working for the University, She worked as a Finance and Grants Administrator, for PA Region 13/Allegheny County Emergency Services, where she was in charge of financial and administrative compliance along with budget planning and allocation for Homeland Security grants. Kasey graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Business Management and Political Science degree and a Masters of Business Administration from Point Park University.
