Daniel Reich

Daniel H. Reich is a professor of physics in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the Johns Hopkins Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on experimental condensed matter physics and biological physics. His current research areas of interest include cell and tissue mechanics and cellular mechanotransduction using techniques based on magnetic nanoparticles and microfabricated systems, the physics of materials for organic electronics, and the dynamics of inclusions in and the microrheology of active matter and complex fluids. He received his PhD and masters degree in physics from the University of Chicago, and his undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
