Alexander A. Spector, Ph.D has been on the faculty of Johns Hopkins University since 1994 where he currently is a Research Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He is also affiliated with Translational Tissue Engineering Center. His research interests are mechanobiology, mechanotransduction, stem cell differentiation, tissue regeneration, and computational modeling. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
