Konstantinos Konstantopoulos joined the faculty of the Whiting School of Engineering, Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University in 1997 and promoted to the rank of Professor and elected Chair of the department in 2008. Dr. Konstantopoulos is a project leader with the Physical Sciences-Oncology Center under INBT. His research is at the interface of engineering and biology pertinent to cancer metastasis. He has published more than 110 peer-reviewed articles in such premier journals as Cell, Proceedings of the National. Academy of Sciences. USA, Nature Reviews Cancer, Journal of Cell Biology, Current Biology, Blood, Current Opinion in Cell Biology. Dr. Konstantopoulos earned his PhD from Rice University in 1995.
