Karin Eisinger
Karin Eisinger, PhD is the Ann B. Young Assistant Professor of Cancer Research at the University of Pennsylvania. She is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida and attended college at the University of Miami and graduate school at the University of Virginia. Karin completed her post-doctoral fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015 and was recruited to join the Penn faculty in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Karin was on of the first faculty researchers recruited to the Penn Sarcoma program. Her laboratory is funded by private foundations, the Abramson Cancer Center, and NCI. A cornerstone of the Penn Sarcoma Program is the collaborative scientific research targeted toward developing new targets for the treatment of sarcoma across Penn Medicine, Penn Veterinary Medicine and CHOP. Karin is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, the Physical Sciences Oncology Network, and the American Society for Matrix Biology.
