Carla monitors and oversees INBT’s extensive research portfolio. She works with INBT’s scientists to locate and secure various types of funding sources for their research. In addition, she ensures that secured funding adheres to the organization’s guidelines such as proper award distribution, progress reports, and financial reports. She is a certified research administrator and has worked in the profession at the University of Illinois-Chicago and Northwestern University. Her interests in research administration and finance helps INBT continue with their collaborative endeavors to pioneer new research discoveries.
