Thao Vicky Nguyen is an Associate Professor and Marlin U. Zimmerman, Jr. Faculty Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She obtained her BS from MIT, and her MS and PhD from Stanford University. Her research focuses on the biomechanics of soft fibrous tissues, the constitutive modeling of shape memory polymers and polymer composites, and fracture mechanics of rate dependent materials.
