Hai-Quan Mao

Hai-Quan Mao has been associate director of INBT since January 2016. He is a professor in the Department of Materials Sciences and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University with appointments in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Translation Tissue Engineering Center at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His research interests are in polymeric nanomaterials for regenerative engineering, therapeutic delivery, and immunoengineering. Dr. Mao received his PhD in polymer chemistry in 1993 from Wuhan University and postdoctoral training in biomedical engineering in 1998 from Johns Hopkins University.
