Funding from the federal government and foundations has provided core support for the Institute. However, in this emerging field, private philanthropy will allow us to implement innovative new programs and new, multidisciplinary research initiatives that are not currently supported by the federal government or foundations.

Non-endowed gifts to the fund will be used to support a range of research activities including post-doctoral fellows in multidisciplinary research projects. We are seeking gifts of $10,000 and above for this fund.
