Support Our New Cancer Therapy at the Institute for NanoBioTechnology
"This really brings cancer and engineering together in a very unique way, and it really takes an approach that is quantitative and rigorous. We have to think of cancer as a complex system, not just a disease."

Cancer is a complex disease that kills about 8 million people a year. Researchers worldwide are working towards understanding this disease to develop better, more effective treatment methods. However, most research and therapies only target tumor growth and not the spread of cancer, known as metastasis. Metastasis is the cause of 90% of cancer deaths.
Recently, INBT researchers have discovered a mechanism on how cancer spreads and a combination of drugs that slow, and in some cases, stop metastasis. This revolutionary discovery is only the beginning. INBT is working on the next stage of this research and huge efforts are underway to prepare for the early phases of clinical trials to try these drugs on patients.
These clinical trials will yield valuable information. You can be a part of these efforts by providing financial assistance to INBT researchers in their quest toward understanding the mechanisms of metastasis and creating new therapies that target the spread of cancer. We appreciate your support.
