Industry Affiliates Program

The Industry Affiliates Program (IAP) is the main focus of our corporate interactions. Membership is drawn from companies involved with all aspects of nanobiotechnology, including drug and gene delivery, biomedical imaging, medical diagnostics, medical instrumentation, cell sorting and separations, biosensors, materials and chemicals, etc.

Primary benefits

  • Advanced notice of inventions and right of first negotiation for intellectual property.
  • Enhanced access to faculty and students for research.
  • Access to designated INBT laboratory facilities.
  • Discount for employees attending INBT short courses, workshops, and seminars.
  • Opportunity to request on-location short courses.
  • Privileged access to the INBT student resume database.
  • Early access to all INBT publications, review articles, and newsletter.

Membership Fees

  • Fewer than 100 employees - Membership fee $10,000
  • 100 - 1000 employees - Membership fee $15,000
  • More than 1000 employees - Membership fee $20,000

Advisory Board

The Industry Advisory Board will be composed of representatives from the Industry Affiliates Program. Since research, education, industry collaboration, and technology transfer are inter-related, the IAB will provide guidance on many Institute functions, including strategic planning, research directions, evaluation of new discoveries, technology transfer, commercialization, education programs, the Industry Affiliates Program, internship programs, workshops, and short courses. The IAB will meet annually.

Internship Program

  • Provides opportunity for IAP member companies access to potential employees with relevant training.
  • Opportunity for selected undergraduate and graduate students to work with IAP member companies under supervision of researcher scientist or engineer for up to 3 months.
